Positive: The service at the lodge was impeccable. Everything was thought out and the owner was super polite, always asking us for permission to enter the room to clean up our room and was often very accommodating to our timings as well as we were back for a bereavement. They also provided us snacks upon our arrival and also on the last day of us leaving which is very thoughtful and often just checked in on guests each morning. The room and the decor was super homely, very clean and comfortable. What I wanted to highlight was the kindness shown during this stay, because we lost a mobile on our train ride into Hualian and the owner went out of the way to ask a friend to pick up the mobile from the train station we lost it at and send it via DHL to the lodge resulting in my mom retrieving her phone back that had very important info on it. I just want to thank the lodge owner, Mr Jian for the kindness shown and also going out of the way to help us organize the retrieval of this mobile. Words cannot describe how grateful we were on the hospitality and the kind gesture shown to help a guest.
