Only steps to beach through private street gate, and a short 1.5 mile bike to Kailua town. 2 bedrooms, family room, and kitchen on 2nd floor; laundry, 1 bedroom and bath on 1st floor. Washer/Dryer, Basic Cable, and Wifi includded. Small pets ok.

Full kitchen, large deck with grill looking out over the Koolau mountains.
2 large bedrooms have queen beds, nightstands, lamps, dresser, closet and ceiling fans; small bedroom has a double bed, and closet. The two baths both have large showers and 1 with a deep soaking tub.
We have bikes, surf & body boards, beach chairs, towels and plenty of snorkel gear for guests to use at Kailua Beach. Great trade winds blowing off the ocean keep the home nice and cool year round. Located between Kalama Beach park and the canal, far enough away from Kailua Beach Park to avoid the crowds.
It is a quiet residential neighborhood so discretion is required and no loud parties. We kindly ask our tenants to keep their guests and visiting to a “minimum" Request that guests observe "quiet hours" from 9:00 pm to 8:00AM.
The world famous Kailua beach (voted the #1 American beach by Conde Naste). Many wonderful local restaurants and shops, along with any water-sport or adventure activity you can think of. Great nearby golf courses, hikes, and other activities to keep you active if desired.
There is 'NO Smoking' permitted in rental premise.

Summary: This accommodation is a delight, our favorite accommodation in Hawaii of the 10+ accommodations where we have stayed. The accommodation's characteristics that we particularly appreciated include: a) The location. There is a glorious beach a hundred or so yards away by foot. b) The owners are very helpful in meeting the needs of us renters. We had a couple of requests of the owners while we were there, and they were met speedily. c) The accommodation has three bedrooms, one of which is on its own floor, offering additional privacy. d) The kitchen is well stocked, including plastic containers for leftovers, ample paper products (paper towels, etc), a set of knives with a knife sharpener, and a rice cooker. e) The two beach chairs, beach umbrella, several boogie boards and surfboards, and a beach wagon to carry items to the beach were all in good working order. We loved our stay, and were sorry to leave. We hope to be back.
