Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The door locks were great and location was excellent for getting around without having to take a car everywhere. There were soaps and towels provided which were also nice. I would recommend this if you know what a hostel is like and are comfortable with that. From that perspective it was nice enough and the bed was comfortable to me. My room was nice and cool, but my friend's room stayed fairly warm.
Negative: This is actually all upstairs and is 7 separate rooms that are rented out with a community bathroom. I never saw the other renters but heard them a lot. The room is very small and you have to keep everything in your room including your toiletries. This is much more like a hostel but I didn't get that impression when booking. My room was clean and comfortable and so was my bed. The bathroom was small and there wasn't really anywhere to set stuff down except on the sink or toilet which I didn't want to do. For what it is, if you understand it's a small hostel, it's great, you just need to be aware of that when booking.
Summary: This is more like a hostel. Location is great for getting downtown but in a rougher part of town.
