Pastoral 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage with spa area and hot tub located in a rural west side minutes to downtown Petaluma. Relax and enjoy this private home on a slice of beautiful farmland.
The open concept living area features a cozy living area, dining area, an island seating, and modern farmhouse kitchen. There is an antique desk for paperwork, office, writing, journaling. Working staycation...
Bedroom 1 is the front room, has a queen memory foam bed and cozy Sundance style decor.
Bedroom 2 is at back of house features a queen memory foam bed, antique Moroccan kilim, collectors room decor with various art objects in the owners collection.
The bathroom is a good size with a built in medicine cabinet for storage, heated stone floors, and a large modern glass walk -in shower.
Some wonderful features include access to: the heated spa, private garden area.There is access to a bocce court and a nice gazebo for sitting and eating or playing outside. There is a blue tooth speaker for playing your music outside at a reasonable volume.
Private parking for up to 2 cars.
The kitchen is stocked with all the things you need to prepare a meal. Coffee/creamer/sugar/ oil and plenty of spices.
The living room sofa folds down flat and may be able to accommodate a kid sleeping.
The home is located in a private yard within a larger multi acre property. We have horses all around us, beautiful country views, and we are close to Napa, healdsburg, bodega bay, pt. Reyes, many more. We are about 5 minutes to Petaluma historic downtown. We are in an area that was once famous for chicken farms and the town of Petaluma was at then of 20th century a hub for poultry, butter, eggs, a bustling and busy farm town. Today it is quant place to shop, eat, and feel safe. There is very little crime here.The architecture in town is beautiful and historically preserved 1850-on filled with street after street of preserved Heritage Homes.
We have security cameras on the exterior areas of property for safety.

Summary: Overall great place that was just what we needed! Awesome location close to wine country and the coast. Only complaint is that the lights flickered, but we used lamps instead and it worked out great. Would stay again!
