Positive: The property is dog-friendly and there were thoughtful gifts for both us and our pups on arrival. It’s in a fantastic location near Glencoe with easy access to lovely walks, ideal for exploring with a dog. The design of the house was very modern and stylish, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. A hot tub is always a bonus
Negative: While the property was well-equipped in many ways, there were a few things that could be improved. The living area would benefit from a sofa or at least a footstool, the two leather chairs weren’t ideal for relaxing after long walks, especially if you like to put your feet up. The kitchen was only stocked with two of each item (cups, glasses, cutlery etc.), which felt quite limited. There was no way to prevent dogs from going upstairs, even though it stated they shouldn’t, which made that hard to manage. The hot tub was also not very private, located opposite the parking area and there was no privacy screen, which made it feel exposed. The surrounding landscaping wasn’t finished, so when we sat in the hot tub, we were looking at a mound of soil and parked cars. Lastly, it was a bit noisy when neighbours were going up and down their stairs (sound seemed to travel quite easily)
Summary: A stylish dog-friendly escape with great walks and a hot tub. just needed a sofa, some mugs, and a bit more privacy!
