Only a 5 minute walk to the Beach and the famous « Promenade des Anglais », this quiet and bright apartment is perfect for a family getaway! The apartment is on the top floor of the building so the view from the terrace is beautiful! The Space: This apartment is located in the city center, near the beach and there is a tramway stop (Alsace-Lorraine) just down the building so you can easily go to the airport in 15min or to the old town in 5min. The apartment is on the sixth floor of a nice building and there is a lift but note that there are a few steps to get to the lift (about 5 steps)! You enter the apartment from a large hallway that opens onto the spacious living room. From the hallway there is a corridor that will take you to the main bedroom (next to the living room) then onto the smaller bedroom that is fitted with bunk beds, the bathroom is located in front of the small bedroom and the kitchen is at the end of the corridor so on the opposite side of the living room. There are windows in every room so it is bright and the windows have been replaced in March 2020 and are soundproof. The living room and main bedroom are equipped with the AC but if the AC is on, and if you keep the small bedroom door open, it will also cool down the small bedroom. A fan is also provided for this smaller bedroom in case you need it. The kitchen is fully fitted and has everything you need to cook! All rooms (except the bathroom) open onto the terrace! There are electric sunshades so you can easily have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside to enjoy the view and the light breeze from the rooftop! If you lean on the terrace railing and look South you will see the beautiful Mediterranean sea with its turquoise color. Guest Access: Included in the rental fee: - Friendly meet and greet by a local (someone to give you the keys and show you the apartment) - 1 bedroom with a double bed (160cm x 200cm) - 1 bedroom with bunk beds (safety barrier provided for the top bed if needed) - 1 living room with a sofa bed (140cm x 190cm) - 1 bathroom with a shower and toilet - Fully fitted kitchen (incl. fridge, freezer, microwave, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, nespresso coffee machine etc.) - Wireless Internet (Fibre) - Flatscreen Television (incl. a few English channels) - Iron and ironing board - Hair dryer - AC - Bed linen and Fairtrade bath towels Please note that for stays of 28 nights or more, only one set of linen and towels are provided so you can either bring your own extra set or we can provide a second full set (bed linen, towels) for 30€ extra per bed. If you book the apartment for fewer people but still need the sofa bed or the bunk beds, we can provide additional bed linen for a charge of €20. The Neighborhood: I’m a big fan of old cities and the Old Town of Nice is just one of my favourites! You’ll enjoy getting lost in small alleys filled with shops, art galleries and restaurants. Forget your watch and just keep track of time with the church bells ringing every hour :) Getting Around: If you come by car, be aware that parking in the centre of Nice is difficult and expensive. Lots of streets are pedestrian only or reserved for cycling lanes and buses so it can get quite frustrating driving here. Moreover, parking are expensive so since you are unlikely to need a car during your stay (you can do everything on foot or using the tramway and trains), I strongly suggest you don’t rent a car or that you park your car near the airport and use the tramway to come to the city centre. The apartment is located: Less than a 1 minute walk to the closest bakery Less than a 1 minute walk to the closest supermarket The closest tramway station (Alsace-Lorraine) is down the building A 1 minute walk to the closest "Vélo Bleu" (city bike rental) A 10 minute walk to the Nice Ville train station (trains to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Italy) Nice is 30 minutes on the train from Cannes, 20 minutes from Antibes and 20 minutes from Monaco Other Things to Note: Please note that for stays of 28 nights or more, only one set of linen and towels are provided so you can either bring your own extra set or we can provide a second full set (bed linen, towels) for 30€ extra per bed.
