Positive: A lovely little cottage with stunning views across the harbour and out to the mountains. Centrally located, a short walk from the town centre and you can see the steam engines coming in and out of the station! The house had everything we needed and was well equipped for a short or longer stay. You can tell it's a very much loved family holiday home, which the owners still use. They've thought of everything that a visitor may need, so feels very much like you're staying in someone's home, rather than a typical short stay accommodation venue.

Negative: Parking and access was a little problematic on the street. But there is long term paid parking a short walk from the house. We did have an issue with a faulty smoke alarm and had to resort to taking it down and removing the batteries. We did receive a new unit the very next day while we were out. But it was let on the coffee table and I had to hang it back in the myself. The fridge was also on its way out and we had to run it on the lowest setting just to make sure things stay cold. Although it's much loved, it's starting to show it's age and could do with some refreshing in a few areas.
