There are almost too many special touches to list – from the extravagant weighted blankets and plush linens and towels to the remarkable complete kitchen to the Boho sunroom with papasan couch – the pictures speak volumes and are true to what you will find when you arrive. *We are in a quiet historic neighborhood one block from the gorgeous 214-acre Gypsy Hill Park. Great walking, biking, jogging, rollerblading, duck pond, Lake Tams, skate park, golf course, community pool, and summer kids’ mini-train, free concerts, and sporting events.
*One mile from Staunton’s acclaimed downtown with amazing independent shopping, dining, and world-class entertainment throughout the year.
*Convenient access to the many attractions and business venues the Shenandoah Valley is famous for.
Getting Around:
*Getting around by foot from this location is easy, with a few moderate hills to consider.
*Don’t want to walk? Staunton’s Downtown Trolley picks up a block away at Gypsy Hill Park and makes a continuous 30-minute loop for just 25 cents per ride!
*Public transportation outside the Staunton area is provided by the BRITE Bus system.
*Street parking around town is plentiful, some metered and some not. Be mindful that the historic town’s streets are somewhat narrow, many are one-way, and turning right on red is prohibited in a few places. Check local websites for events that may close streets or divert traffic.
