We are nestled near the upper end of a mountain valley with a lovely view of the valley and mountains. Happy Place Valley View is the definition of a bucolic setting- “pleasing or picturesque in natural simplicity.”
We sit at 3400’ in Eastern Tennessee close to the N.C. Border. Our property has an open pond bordered by conservation land on one side and an active working farm with cattle, sheep, and a donkey. Occasionally, we will have coyotes running through the hills. We live off a dead-end road with one home past ours, so it is quiet here. We have about 22 free-range chickens and some ducks on the pond. If you are looking for a serene location, this is the place. Happy Place, Valley View accommodation is located in the walk-out basement of our home with a private entrance, two queen bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower, a living room with a full-sized futon and TV, a dining room seating 6, a fully equipped galley kitchen with a fully provisioned coffee/tea bar.
