5 Bedroom House in West Main Historic District, Louisville
The Victorian mansion was built in 1882. Throughout the years it has been owned and modified by several people. My wife and I have taken efforts to restore this house to its original beauty by working with the Louisville Preservation Society. While restoring the house, we stripped the walls down to the plaster and found 2 locations that were signed by the paper hangar in September 1905. Those signatures were preserved under a protective glass. This house has so much character with its 12 foot ceilings, ornate trim and large rooms. We do meet all of our guests at the house during check-in to hand out keys, explain the security system and give a quick tour. we do have a self check out procedure for when you want to leave.
