Quiet, detached house with a lawn, a playground and grill area, an ideal starting point for trips to the nearby ski resort and for extensive hikes
The detached house is on a flat plot of land of 700m² in a very quiet location at an altitude of 1300 metres and about 3km from the Klippitztörl ski resort.
The self-catering chalet of about 140m² can accommodate a maximum of 16 people (in cooperation with neighbours, 30 people can be accommodated on request. The hosues are about 50 metres apart). The 16 beds are distributed across four bedrooms, of which two have a bunk bed and cot. There are also three sofas that can be converted into double beds. Two of the bedrooms are on the gorund floor and two are on the upper floor. There is also a TV room on the upper floor with the possibility of four beds. A suite in the living room on the ground floor can be used as beds. The two bathrooms each have a shower and WC. There is an infrared sauna in the upstairs bathroom. The built-in kitchen is fully-equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, stove, filter coffee machine and Nespresso machine with pads (can be provided by the owner), fridge and 90-litre freezer. The house is characterised by comfort and cosiness. The living room has a fireplace stove and a heated bench, a big sitting corner and of course satellite TV.
The garden has a terrace with seating that is sheltered from the wind, a children’s playground, a grill area, a lawn and ample parking space. Pets are welcome, but dogs must be kept on the leash, because of the nearby forest. From April 2018, a barrel sauna for four to five people will be available. A Wicki barbecue hut for 12-16 people is available on site, which can be rented on arrival. This grill hut provides everything you need for grilling and cooking outdoors. It is ideal for all celebrations, such as birthdays, stag or hen nights, company parties etc.
The house is easily accessible in summer and in winter. The owner can provide a drinks service on request, with beer, wine, mineral water, apple juice and arolla pine schnaps (please request at the time of booking or confirm in advance with the owner). Wood or charcoal briquets (in 10kg packs) are available for purchase.
The house is surrounded by meadows and forests and is right by many hiking trails that lead through the area. The nearest restaurant is 200 metres away. It is about 12km to Bad St. Leonhard, with the nearest shopping facilities. The house is centrally located for trips to Styria, Klagenfurt and Lower Carinthia, as well as Slovenia and Italy. A winter and summer paradise awaits you, whether for skiing or hiking. There is something for everyone. From July to the end of September you are in the midst of a mushroom gathering paradise, right on the doorstep. Carinthia’s most spectacular summer toboggan run and the great climbing garden with cliffs and building elements are right nearby. After an exciting day out you can relax in the private sauna. Chalet evenings with transport can be arranged.
