The house has been carefully and high quality renovated in the last 4 years, with individuality and value in the foreground. It was important that despite the modern and open design, the connection to a historic building was preserved. In addition to an open beam, it has an open gallery. The bathrooms are decorated with natural stone (Brazilian slate) and designed with Philippe Starck sanitary objects. The walls are partially bricked with mud brick and provided with clay or high-quality mineral plaster, the insulation was made exclusively with hemp. The bright and sunlit house has wooden parquet floors, in the kitchen over a historic Ziegelbelag. A steel staircase made of pig iron with timber flooring leads through an open gallery with reading area and a beautiful view over the wide fields in the second bedroom upstairs with roof terrace exit and view to the bay. The farmhouse half stands on an approximately 1000 square meters of natural garden property with adjacent fields. In autumn and spring large wild geese and cranes swarms can be observed directly from the terrace or from the garden. The farmhouse goes into renting for the first time in August 2014.
