Villa Xaghri is a 200-year old renovated farmhouse situated in the quiet village of Xaghra on the tiny island of Gozo. The building in its early years was used as an animal driven mill. In fact the big arches of the milling room are a main feature of what is today the living room. In the past the first floor rooms were used as wheat and clover storage rooms. The plan of the farmhouse consists of a pool/BBQ area as you enter. The pool is situated in front of a large living room which leads to the kitchen. A bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor with an internal staircase leads up to the first floor to two other bedrooms with ensuite shower room and an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi respectively. The church that stands today was built in 1815 and the inside of the church is covered in marble throughout.
