On almost an acre of forested mountain land, this mountain home features a hot tub, expansive decks, outdoor living with fire-pit, peace, quiet and easily-accessible solitude — all in a modern, well-appointed and spacious package that will serve you and your family or small group well!
As you make your way here, you’ll notice the proximity to Colorado Springs, the well-maintained roads, and the little town of Florissant, complete with inviting mountain dining options — and of course the incredible mountain scenery and authentic Colorado environs! Park in the large gravel driveway and enter up the stairs and through the front door on the deck. You’ll enter into an open, warm, inviting space. The large windows let in the views of the spruces and pines outside, along with plenty of natural light. The main living area is an open-concept design, with the living room, dining room and kitchen all comfortably connected. You’ll notice the comfortable, inviting sectional, the large tv, the kitchen table with seating for 6, the wood trim, the windows, the lighting, the ambiance — all perfect for entertaining, or relaxing after a long day’s exploring in this mountain wonderland.
The large, bright kitchen features quality, stainless steel appliances, gas-cooktop, quality wooden cabinetry, voluminous counter space, and the opportunity to watch the birds and the trees out the perfectly placed sink-window as you go about finishing or cleaning up from the latest culinary creation.
Head down the hall past the charming wooden bookcase to 3 of the home’s 4 bedrooms. The primary bedroom features royal king comfort, separate chaise lounge and ridiculously soft & comfortable sofa-chair. A spacious, inviting private bathroom services the primary bedroom. There’s another king-appointed bedroom, as well as one featuring queen comfort — both serviced by a welcoming bath with an upright walk-in soaking tub. These living areas are appointed with quality and care — the surfaces tile, granite & travertine. You’ll feel comfortable here, welcomed, relaxed.
The home’s lower level offers abundant, separate entertaining and living spaces. Two sofas invite a good chat, and a luxurious sit. Rest assured, these visits are designed to be non-intrusive. The technician only needs access to the outdoor area and will not disturb your indoor privacy. We schedule these sessions to ensure minimal disruption to your relaxation and aim to provide you with a seamless, top-notch experience.

Welcome to beautiful Florissant in the Rocky Mountains, about 40 minutes west of Colorado Springs.
Florissant is a great location for outdoorsy folk, as the town is surrounded by opportunities for hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, ziplining, skiing, snowshoeing, and much more. In less than 30 minutes, you can easily reach a wide variety of parks, peaks, canyons, lakes, and open spaces, not to mention once-in-a-lifetime views and photo-worthy geological wonders.
In the immediate area, you’ll find two notable attractions. The Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (6 minutes) offers hours of hiking enjoyment with nature trails and outdoor exhibits, including a trail that leads through the beds of ancient Lake Florissant and passes giant petrified redwood tree stumps. The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is a non-profit sanctuary for wolves and wild canines that offers guided tours.
The small center of Florissant provides some casual dining options, including an (exceptionally good) restaurant/brewery — The Iron Tree & Funky Town Brewery. You’ll find additional dining options plus shopping, including a supermarket, in nearby Divide, a 15-minute drive away.
