Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location overlooking the Christmas market. Conveniently near many stores and restaurants. Comfortable rooms with good beds and bathrooms.

Negative: They do not have a 24 hour staffed desk. We checked in earlier that day, unloaded all of our belongings and returned after 10 pm that night unable to get into our rooms. Our key cards were not programmed correctly and luckily we were able to access a different room on a different floor that was a large executive suite, so we slept there in our clothes for the night. The next morning when we complained, the dent desk staff was not empathetic nor did they provide any compensation for the stress and inconvenience of not being able to access our room and belongings the night before. We received a very flat, « Sorry for your inconvenience » and that was it.

Summary: Comfortable hotel, front desk staff needs work.
