Summary: The hotel offered good value for money, given its location - which was a key consideration for me. It was very close to the LIRR (noise could be an issue for some as the elevated line is right outside the hotel) and a short walk from the Subway. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The are plenty of shops and dining options within a 5-10 min walk. However, there was a smell of smoke at times - and the hotel looks like it could do with a refresh and clean.
