2 Bedroom House in Strathpeffer, The Highlands

Balnain cottage has a private Lochan and enjoys fabulous views from every room and is set in well maintained, landscaped gardens which are a key feature of the property. A variety of peaceful seating areas are dotted around the garden to allow guests to enjoy the wealth of interesting views. A small sheltered seating area overlooks a unique lochan which is a focal feature within the private enclosed garden. There are a wide variety of activities and places of interest within a short drive, including the spectacular Rogie Falls, the charming Victorian spa town of Strathpeffer and the picturesque fishing town of Ullapool. There are many wonderful walks and cycle tracks, and for the more adventurous, Ben Wyvis one of the easier Munros to climb, is a 5 minute drive away. The market town of Dingwall is also close by and next door to the cottage is Tarvie Fishing Lochs which offers 3 natural fishing lochs.
The gardens attract a wide variety of wildlife including deer, pine martins, pheasant, partridge, duck, otters and the birdtables around the cottage draw a range of birds.
Ground floor: Living room with wooden floor. Dining room with wooden floor .Kitchen/diner with tiled floor, wide range of well stocked unit, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and microwave. Small study/cloackroom.
First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet.
The cottage comfortable sleeps 4 in bothe bedrooms, but can accomodate upto 6 but you would have to use the the sofa bed in the lounge as a double.
Shops 3 miles. Pub 5 miles.
Open fire in living room (initial fuel inc). Oil CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. T/cot. H/chair. Satellite TV. DVD/CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. F/freezer. Large enclosed 1-acre landscaped garden with patio and furniture. BBQ. Parking (3 cars). No smoking. Sunday to Sunday. NB: Lochan in garden.
