Welcome to the Historic German Village! This AMAZING location is just 5 minutes walk to downtown Columbus, as well as lots of amazing things to see and do just steps from your front door. The City Scape is a perfect place to stay if you love being steps from the action, if you love historic houses and neighborhoods, or if you want to explore Columbus Ohio!
The Space:
Our 2 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of our building. Entry is through a fire escape staircase On the 2nd floor you will find a large bedroom with great natural light from the windows, and a great work space desk. Our living/dinning room has a table for 4, and a lounge area with TV. The kitchen is fully stocked for light cooking. The bathroom has a historic claw-foot tub. Upstairs you will find a spacious 2nd bedroom, and a laundry room. You must use stairs to get in our apartment! One flight to enter, and another flight for the 2nd bedroom.
Our apartment has been lovingly restored to have modern finishes, yet keep the character of this historic property. Our 2 bedroom apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of our building. The main level is 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living/dinning room. A 2nd bedroom is up on the 3rd level with a laundry room for your use.
We do not have any off-street parking at our apartment currently, but you are welcome to park on the street for free for up to 2 hours. For longer term parking, there is a parking garage just 0.3 mile walk from our apartment, and you can usually park for $10/day. It is easy to load and unload by parking on the street, and then park the car in the garage or other paid spots on the street near us for longer term.
We have a small yard that is shared with our other neighbors in the building. It does have a small fence around it, but it is an old iron fence, and is not 100% escape proof for dogs. We allow responsible pet owners to bring their pets, but we ask that they remain on leash at all times when outside.
Guest Access:
Guest will full access to the 2nd and 3rd floor apartment, and will not share that space with anyone else. Entry is through a fire escape staircase The exterior of the property has a fenced yard that is shared with neighbors in the building.
The Neighborhood:
German Village and the Brewery District are some of the most desired neighborhoods in Columbus. They have a great proximity to downtown, and are central to the city in general. German Village is known for historic houses, brick streets, and the best restaurants in the city! Don's miss Pistachio Verde, for coffee and amazing pastries. We are also just a block from The Book Loft, which is a Columbus treasure, and a great book store to get lost in!
Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:
$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)
