Relax with the whole fam at this peaceful cabin on the lake. Great elevated views from the deck. Property has great fishing from the private dock. Huge dock to swim off of. It's in a secluded part of the lake, so it's private. The dock has a table, chairs to lay out, lifejackets, kayaks, etc. You can hang all day w/ full size refrigerator in boat house. Unwind at the end of a full day on the lake at the firepit or relax in the hot tub with incredible sunset views.
The Hyco Lake Hideout is located in a private lakefront neighborhood. The roads are gravel and you will feel away from it all, even though Downtown Roxboro with great restaurant options is 15 minutes away. It's also only 45 minutes from DT Durham and 20 minutes from Virginia International Raceway and approximately 30 minutes to Danville, VA.
The entire property is yours to use - house, firepit, dock, boathouse - everything is for your enjoyment except for the boat, which is off limits due to liability. However, the dock is large enough for you to bring your own boat or PWC to enjoy the lake.
The house has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs with the kitchen and main living space. There is a wrap around porch with sliding glass doors to access the deck.
The ground floor has a second living space, full bathroom, a King size murphy bed, a twin day bed with twin trundle and a washer/dryer room. The ground floor has ground level outdoor access to the patio with outdoor furniture and fire pit.
Around the side of the house you'll find a second private deck.
The private dock and boathouse is down the hill straight in front of the house, and is accessed by outdoor steps. The boathouse is equipped with a fridge/freezer and the dock has plenty of outdoor furniture.
