Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Quiet hotel, we had a corner room with large balcony and spectacular view. Washing line was appreciated and hotel was good value. Cupboard space was good. Staff gave travel , hiking and panagaria tips. The yoghurt is the star of breakfast. A/C worked well as did wifi. Room cleaned daily. Fabulous juicy figs in car park in September. Hotel is at the start of a great hike up the valley.
Negative: The owners should give advance navigation instructions. We came up the "short" gps way and nearly burnt out the clutch! Breakfast is basic and needs fresh fruit and veg and home made jam added. Just add kettles to the room - I would steal down early to the lobby to use one every morning. The beds are pretty uncomfortable but expected for the price. I never added cold water in the shower so it needs an additional 5C. Parking can be challenging - we often parked on the road outside. Some of the room's cold white LED lighting should be replaced with warm lights.
Summary: Quaint old fashioned hotel with spectacular view.
