Positive: This is a beautiful property set in extensive grounds overlooking the river. The room was comfortable and clean. It was extremely hot on the days we were there so the shutters were closed most of the time to keep cool making the room dark. There was coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was beautifully presented and was a basic continental breakfast. Catherine the owner and her husband were lovely and could not do enough for you. Also the pool is beautiful and a welcome relief from the heat.
Negative: Thee room was very warm due to the high temperatures and the need to keep the window shutters closed. The decoration in the room was very interesting but may not be to everyone’s taste.
Summary: A very pleasant stay in a lovely location. In the end we had to leave early due to the heat in the room which very unco
