Absolute tranquility in the countryside, in a small rural hamlet steeped in history (once home to "stone cutter" quarries for historic monuments, from which the spire of Autun Cathedral came). A literal haven of peace & rest, surrounded by nature, in a magnificent, preserved landscaped setting. Very comfortable gîte. Very warm, country-style charm with contemporary accents, a "country chic" feel, enhanced by the rich traces of the original building (framework and beams, walls, fireplace mantel and stone lintels, etc.).
