Set up the private gas grill on the lowest floor for an extra smoky end to the day.
There's also a bonus kitchenette on the lowest floor that includes helpful touches like a full-size sink and fridge. The lift up to the home stops here, so it's perfect for older guests or folks who have trouble with stairs. Head up the stairs (while catching a glimpse out the tall vertical window on the landing) and you'll find the second hub of bedrooms for the house. The first bedroom on this floor (the third overall) is directly to the right of the stairs. This room features a twin bed, queen bed, a private closet space, and a window with a view of the area's treeline. Directly across the hall (past the balcony entrance and extra seating) lies the main bedroom of the home. This spacious room features a queen bed, two windows that let in plenty of natural light and provide a view of the lake and surrounding trees, a walk-in closet, and a private entrance to the hallway's full bathroom that features a gorgeous stone-inlaid standalone shower. Head up one more floor to take in the ultimate kid-friendly loft. This fun space includes a full bathroom with a stone-inlaid standalone shower, two different sightseeing decks (one with a wonderful lake view), one twin bed, one twin-over-double bunk bed, and two twin-size trundle beds.

A beach day won't be hard to find with private beach access sitting just a five-minute walk away. If a hike is more up your alley, head out the back door and hop onto one of the beautiful Sanctuary Woods Preserve trails. Macatawa Harbor is within a half-mile, and guests can rent boats to explore the area all around. The Windmill Island Gardens provide gorgeous blooms to explore just over seven miles away. Take in the beauty of the dunes at Saugatuck Dunes State Park, a bit over seven miles away to the south. When you build up an appetite, head over to Downtown Holland or grab a bite to eat from the Paisley Pig (one mile) or deBoer’s Bakkerij (four miles). Plus, the whole gang will love picking blueberries and strawberries at Bowerman (10 miles).
