Located in the Huron-Manistee National Forest, our cottage offers a great place to gather with family and friends in the heart of Pure Michigan. Enjoy campfires, fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking, biking and so much more. Relax on the back deck with a book and drink or enjoy a sunset from the pier. With thoughtful amenities in a private setting, you are sure to create memories that will last forever.
The space
The property has been newly renovated. New memory foam mattress throughout and extra blankets/pillows make for a comfortable stay. The 4th bedroom is a loft space with a full day bed that overlooks the great room. A deck spans the back of the entire home and overlooks the back yard and lake. The lake is visible from the deck in the early spring, fall, and winter months. A 200 ft private pier over wooded wetlands provides access to the fishing dock and lake. The cottage sits on just over 1 acre and offers a quiet wooded setting with a firepit.
This property is close to state ORV/ATV trails, the Pere Marquette river, and many hiking trails in the Huron- Manistee National Forest. Winter guest will enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing at Caberfae Peaks (45 min).

Guest have access to the entire cottage including the use of the detached shed for storing kayaks or atvs.

Guest are welcome to use our 2 kayaks. You can bring your own boat and enjoy peace and quiet of East Lake or take the channel to all-sports Woodland Lake for skiing and tubing.
