Ashe Lake Hideaway is a one-bedroom corner unit condominium situated on a quiet lakefront wooded property with picturesque mountain views. Located just minutes from West Jefferson NC. You will enjoy easy access to parks, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and more. Bring your small boat (electric motor only), Kayak, canoe, or paddleboard along with your fishing gear because beautiful Ashe Lake is in your front yard!
The "Hideaway" features a spacious bedroom with a queen bed, flat screen TV, dresser, nightstand, large, shelved closet and ceiling fan. The newly updated bathroom boasts a granite countertop, bath /shower with access from bedroom or living area. The kitchen area, also newly updated, features a beautiful granite countertop / bar with oversize stainless-steel sink, refrigerator / freezer, and electric range/oven. No dishwasher. In the living room area, you will find an amazing view of the lake out the front windows. Also, a flat screen TV, ceiling fan, pull-out sofa bed, and recliner. The stacked washer / dryer is located in a closet connected to the Living Room. Above the closet is where you will discover
a variety of games, playing cards and puzzles if you are so inclined. A variety of Books are stored under the coffee station. Outside, on the front porch there is a small bistro set that's perfect for your morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful lake view. Free Wi-Fi !

Although the "Hideaway" is in a lovely, wooded area, you are less than 10 minutes from downtown West Jefferson, NC. Boone, NC is a short 30 minutes away. Tweetsie Railroad 35 minutes. Appalachian State University 30 minutes. Wilkesboro, NC 40 minutes. An excellent access point for the south fork of the New River is 3 miles away. The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is a 4-to-5-mile drive. Other attractions include: The Cheese factory in downtown West Jefferson, Thistle meadow and Old Barn wineries, Saturday Farmers Market (downtown W. Jefferson). Much, much more!
