This cabin for 8 guests features 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed (queen over queen), a queen futon, and two full bathrooms. The "Lazy Bear Cabin" has all the amenities you need such as a fully equipped kitchen (brand new appliances), large living room with a flat screen tv, spacious deck with Foosball & hot tub, and tranquil wooded views - all perfect for creating precious memories with family and friends. If you decide to peel yourself away from the cabin - you are only minutes from all the fun! This cabin is in the BEST location right off the Spur (road between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg). Whether you want to head to Ober Gatlinburg or race go-carts in Pigeon Forge. You are just a short 5-10 minute drive to both! From couple retreats to family vacations to getaways with friends, "Lazy Bear Cabin" provides a cozy place to unwind with all the comforts of home perched among the trees in the Great Smoky Mountains. What are you waiting for? ROAD CONDITIONS TO CABIN: Easily Accessible oad to cabin is Uphill & Steep IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day. Check-In: *4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin Check-Out: *10am - There is NO check out “to do list” for your departure, you are on vacation & you should enjoy it to the last minute without having to do any “chores”. Fireplaces: *On During: October 1st - February 28th *Off During: March 1st - September 30th Common Concerns: *Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions. *Well Water: Most of our cabins are on well water. Well water here in the Smoky Mountains sometimes has a different feel to it and often times a slight sulfur smell and often times has a brown color. Well water is safe to drink and to use for bathing and to cook with. We do have water systems on any cabins that have these issues, but keep in mind, it may smell and feel different than what you are used to. Also, some of our wells take time to recoup themselves after a lot of water has been used. This is a common problem in this area and there are times you may have to use water sparingly or wait for the water pressure to rebuild. *TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. *Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors. Cancellation Policy: *$50 fee + VRBO service fee *Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50 & VRBO service fee) *Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 nights + tax + cleaning fee + damage fee + Bear Tootin fee($25) - $50 cancellation fee & VRBO service fee.
