A light-filled cottage on a picturesque road in the quaint town of New Marborough in the Southern Berkshires. Simple and well-designed, with many delightful moments.

Decks, wood-burning hot tub, BBQs, lawn, fruit trees on property; swimmable lake, café, restaurants, church, and trails in town.
We love our East Hill Road. You can walk (10 min.) to a nearby well-maintained lake in a state park. You can drive (10 min.) to an exceptional cafe that offers amazing pastries and a casual menu. There are three other restaurants within a 10-minute drive that offer a range of fine dining from classic to world cuisine and experimental.

Summary: Beautiful, well-designed home deserves a 10 out of 10 for aesthetics. Very glad Jing (the host) and her family are sharing this jewel of a home with the rest of us. Jing was a quick, kind and cordial communicator. The house location was quiet and tranquil. Nearby lake was within walking distance and delightful.
