Come experience the magic of Minot! This home is a short walk-skip-jump to the magnificent Atlantic Ocean at Minot Beach also known as the "Irish Riviera". Ocean Avenue is a tranquil and quiet street with very friendly neighbors. The Town of Scituate is the quintessential New England seaside village located on the South Shore of Massachusetts between Boston and Cape Cod. This spot is the perfect location for family and friends to gather for happy vacations, retreats or reunions. This lovely and spacious home was built over 125 years ago and has been updated with modern amenities and appliances and is nicely and comfortably furnished and immaculately clean. There are 2 private driveways on either side of the house, one with a built-in basketball hoop and a large abutting side yard for a game of whiffle ball, volleyball or badminton. All 5 bedrooms are on the second floor with 2 full baths, one of which is located in the master bedroom suite. The downstairs has a dining room, 1/2 bath and a large kitchen with a roomy computer desk nook as well as a separate pantry with a bar refrigerator and endless cabinets. The living room is beautifully furnished with a cabinet filled with lots of great games for many laughs. The oversized family room is furnished with a large and comfy sectional sofa/chaise and a separate recliner for Dad. It's perfect room for watching a movie, reading a good book or taking an afternoon nap ~ feel free to put your feet up and relax! A large and peaceful screened-in front porch with ample seating welcomes you as you enter the house. The back-deck has a cushioned couch, coffee & side tables, a high-top table with 2 chairs and 2 stools, an oversized Weber gas grill (tankless and hooked directly to natural gas) as well as a charcoal grill. Additionally, a large outdoor table with seating for 8+ is located directly off the back deck for enjoying any meal. Finally, there is a private enclosed outdoor shower which is always a huge favorite for our guests!
