The Candy Bird is a special place for guests to enjoy the best that Northport, MI has to offer. This newly renovated lower level duplex is a perfect place for a family of four to spend time making vacation memories that will last a lifetime. The bedroom has a king bed, dresser and plenty of closet space. The living room has two twin sized day beds comfortable for sleeping at night, curling up with a good book or to watch TV in the evening. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The well stocked kitchen has everything a guest would need to prepare a meal from its brand new appliances to its pots/pans and utensils. Guests will also appreciate the use of a grill for any outdoor cooking needs. Guests staying for longer stays will appreciate the in unit washer and dryer to make packing for their trip easier. Guests with larger groups may inquire with management about renting the upper unit as well.
We highly recommend guests take a moment to enjoy the outdoor patio. Have a seat, build a fire and appreciate the night sky- on a clear night, the stars seem endless.
The main appeal of this property is the location. Located in the heart of Northport, this home puts guests close to it all - The home is within a short walk or bike ride to the marina. Haserot Park which is Northport's municipal beach is right downtown, a little north of the marina. The park offers a grassy area for kids to run and is the location of local festivals. It offers a gorgeous view of Grand Traverse Bay. Just south of the marina is South Beach which offers guests access to 200 feet of Grand Traverse Bay frontage including a sandy beach, picnic tables, swimming area, public restrooms and a playground with a volleyball court. Northport boasts some of Northern Michigan's most beautiful beach front with sandy bottomed, clear waters perfect for spending the day.
