Luna's Lodge offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere to help you relax during your stay in Lubbock with its two living areas two bedrooms two baths and full kitchen. Enjoy the historic architecture of this 1920's home with modern amenities. This property is spacious enough to sleep 7 guests and is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen. If cooking is not what you had in mind you are within walking distance of several of Lubbock's great restaurants and Tech campus is only one block away.
The master bedroom features a queen size bed with a comfortable and new mattress with fresh linens that will ensure a great night's rest. The second bedroom contains two twin beds with the same new mattresses and linens for additional guests. In addition, the rooms also have bedside lamps and alarm clocks with additional USB charging capabilities.
The front shared bathroom is clean updated and stocked with all the linens and toiletries one might need throughout their stay. Miscellaneous items are stored in the cabinet space under the sink. If you forgot anything there are disposable razors q-tips and pre-pasted toothbrushes in case you need them.
The second bathroom in the master suite allows for guests to enjoy their privacy from others in their group with its private shower/tub combo and toiletry area. This bathroom is also stocked with all needed items including shampoo body wash towels and extra toiletries.
The living room features plenty of seating with comfy couches that also allow for an additional place for guests to sleep. This area also has a 45-inch TV with a Roku device and Blu-ray player with Netflix and Amazon Prime already setup for guests to use.
There is a second living room between the entryway and kitchen that has an additional sleeper sofa that allows for 2 additional guests. There is also a dedicated desk/work space for those that may need it.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals during your stay. You'll find all the pots pans and utensils that you should need. There is a also a cabinet with coffee filters, basic cooking needs, (oil spices etc.) and plenty of dishwashing soap. The only thing this location doesn't have is a dishwasher. You will need to make sure and do those by hand before leaving.
The dining area has seating for up to four guests while the living room is another perfect place to enjoy a meal.
The backyard is large well fenced in and includes plenty of room to enjoy the West Texas sunsets. Parking in the front has space for two vehicles in the driveway and the street parking is free and available as well. Just make sure to park in the correct direction.
The entire house is available for your private use. There is a laundry room equipped with washer and dryer available for use if needed plus a cozy patio you can relax and enjoy the wonderful evenings Lubbock has to offer in the fall and spring.
Fast Wi-Fi is important to us when we travel so we make sure to have that as an additional amenity for those that stay with us too!
Guests of Luna's Lodge can assess all parts of the 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom house. There is a private access basement unit off 16th Street that is for other guests, but you will not have any interaction with them during your stay. This home is your private area and for your use alone.

Once you have booked, please refer to the check-in instructions for entry codes that you will receive before your arrival on the Airbnb app. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Should you need anything during your stay we live nearby and will usually be available to help at any time. We are always available by text or phone call and pride ourselves on our quick responses. Please use the Airbnb app or call or text us for any communication. E-mail does not work, and we will not see your messages. Luna's Lodge is located in the Historic South Overton neighborhood which is just east of Texas Tech University. You can walk to campus in less than 3-4 minutes. If you prefer other transportation, you can usually Uber to the campus, Broadway, or downtown areas for around $5. The house is a .10 mile east of University (a major street) which makes the area very safe.
Very centrally located! TTU campus and stadium can be accessed by simply heading west towards University. The house is located directly off University and makes travel very convenient. The house is very close to Broadway and downtown for live music drinks or dinner. Guests can access the loop by heading south on University. Other than Uber options for ground transportation in Lubbock are poor and although the neighborhood is convenient to the University and downtown a car is still recommended.
