Welcome to The Velvet Hideaway, a luxurious 1920s speakeasy-themed retreat located just minutes from Old Town Scottsdale. Our beautifully designed 4-bedroom 2-bath home combines vintage elegance with modern luxury, offering high-end finishes, a HEATED and COOLED pool, hot tub, a cozy fire table, a secret room, a game room, and a turf area for outdoor games. Perfect for couples, groups of friends, and bachelor/bachelorette gatherings, it’s an upscale escape where you can relax, celebrate, and step back in time in style.

Located just 5 minutes from Old Town and Fashion Square, and close to everything else that Scottsdale and the Phoenix area has to offer, our house amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire table, and game room. We have a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, a bedroom with two full beds, and a bedroom with one full bed.
Inspired by The Great Gatsby and speakeasies, our home offers many unique and surprising features. Each room has been curated down to the smallest details to immerse you into the luxurious times of the 1920s. There is even a Secret Room - how quickly will you find it?!? There are many more surprises in store for you as well...and we have created several IG-worthy spaces where we hope you will make tons of great memories and share your photos with us as well!
Our pool has the option to be heated and cooled, offering year-round access! While it does not get too cold here, the temperatures definitely drop in the evenings, making heating the pool a great option during the colder times of year.
Additionally, it gets extremely HOT here starting in early spring and continuing into late fall. Cooling the pool is a must if you want to swim in the warmer months. The pool water can get up into the high 90's and even over 100 degrees! Upon request, we can either heat or cool the pool for you. We charge $100 per day for cooling or heating to help offset the cost of running the pump 24/7.
Also note that the garage game room and lounge is fully air conditioned and heated, providing for year-round enjoyment of this additional space!
A quick note about our beds: they are extremely comfortable!!! We have outfitted each bed with plush foam mattresses, mattress toppers, and soft sheets and comforters. We promise that you will love sleeping here! And our game room may just be your favorite hangout place...or will it be the living room where you can relax by the fire and listen to your favorite music on the vintage record player? Or maybe out on the patio or by the pool, or in the hot tub?!? Perhaps it will be sitting by the fire table with all of your friends and family??? We can't wait to find out what you enjoyed most about The Velvet Hideaway!
