Located within the village of Riverstick just a 10-minute drive from Kinsale, Curragh House was recently fully restored from its humble origins as a family farmhouse dating back 300 years. Now it boasts all the modern fixtures, fittings and eco-friendly systems you could want, ensuring it is future-proofed for generations to come.
The kitchen is brand new and has everything you will need should you wish to cook or entertain including quartz worktops, wine cooler, high-end integrated appliances, an extra-large island ideal for entertaining guests while cooking, Smeg kettle and toaster along with a kitchen window seat takes in all the views of Riverstick. Although there is no wahsing machine or dryer in the house, the owners can provide a complementary wash and dry service upon request.
There are two bedrooms located upstairs, each of which has a large double bed and is ensuite. They are both comfortable and stylish with exposed beams, walk in wardrobes, 50” smart TV’s, king-size beds and window seats. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The sitting room manages to be bright, yet cosy and features a 60” smart TV, a feature electric fire, large couch with recliners and a window seat. High speed wifi is available to our guests.
There is also a guest toilet downstairs.
Outside is a private garden with patio and outside dining area overlooking Riverstick village. There is plenty of car parking space.
Cork City is just 20 minutes away and Cork airport is only 8kms from Curragh House. The Number 226 Bus passes services journeys from Riverstick to Cork and Kinsale every hour up to midnight.Airport pick-ups and lifts to and from Kinsale are available on request.
