Positive: We had an absolutely unforgettable stay! The location is perfect—private, secluded, and intimate, making it a wonderful base for exploring the north coast's natural beauty while remaining just a quick drive from Ponta Delgada. The house is a stunning remodel of a traditional home, featuring high-quality construction, beautiful artwork, handmade designs, gorgeous lighting, beautiful linens and an incredibly comfortable bed. The landscaped gardens, sunroom, and large, inviting pool create an atmosphere that is both deeply comforting and luxurious. The breakfasts were incredible! Every morning we were treated to an artistic spread of homemade juices, fresh baked goods, sliced meats, endless fruit, and garden-fresh jams. We also highly recommend booking a dinner with them. For a very reasonable price, they serve drinks, appetizers, mains, and the most delicious desserts—it was genuinely one of the best dinners we had on the island. Of course, the highlight of our trip was Franck and Miguel. They are exceptionally kind and genuine hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They provided an utterly peaceful environment, and gave us the best insider advice to navigate the island's unpredictable weather so we could get the most out of our vacation. They were always there when we needed them, yet perfectly respected our privacy. They are warm, kind, compassionate and truly love taking excellent care of their guests. We cannot recommend this stay enough.
