Positive: The accommodation is located in a dormitory building, so the corridors and the dining area have a distinctly dorm-like atmosphere; however, everything was clean, orderly and, importantly, not noisy at all. The room itself was particularly large, as was the bathroom; the toilet was in a separate small room opening off the bathroom, and there was even a small kitchenette/dining area attached to the room. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is a perfect place to stay for several days. The tram and metro lines leading to the city centre were just a few minutes’ walk from the accommodation — the tram stop was literally a one-minute walk away, and the metro maybe two or three minutes. The accommodation had its own parking area, so during our stay in Prague our car was kept in a closed courtyard the entire time. (Public transport in Prague is so good that we never needed to use the car at all.)
Negative: didn’t like the name of the accommodation. It’s a pity that it is named after Masaryk. Anyone who knows the history of Eastern Europe and isn’t Czech will understand why I say this.
Summary: A perfect place to stay for a multi-day visit to Prague. Excellent value for money.
