UTC is 3 miles from the ocean in La Jolla; a half mile to the UC San Diego campus; and easy access to freeways. Groceries a short walk. This 1,250 square foot condo has it's own sunny entrance on the south side of a 4-plex, and $150,000 in tasteful, modern upgrades and furnishings. It includes an extra bonus room for sleeping as needed.
New kitchen fully stocked with kitchen island. New air conditioning to force the temperature down as needed. Double pane windows. It's not often hot near the beaches, but sometimes there are hot spells. 2 ton air conditioning handles it.
The larger bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, separate bath, and patio. The smaller bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, and its own bath. The bonus room has its own bath as well, plus a sturdy couch that converts to a queen bed. It closes for privacy, and can be a quiet space for reading or working.
The living room has a Yamaha baby grand piano (not in the way if you don't play).
Our home is furnished as a residence, which means it's comfortable living throughout.
The complex is on a private street, blocked at one end. It's quiet and not near dangerous traffic. There is a pool and Jacuzzi. Two parks nearby and a canyon for walking or running. This area is a magnet for bike riders, up the shoreline coast on weekends or to UCSD for commuters.
The Westfield Shopping Mall, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are each under a mile from home. Vons grocery is in walking distance. Transportation is easy and the neighborhood is safe. There are bus stops in walking distance and the San Diego Trolley system is within a mile in two directions. The trolley system takes you downtown and to the airport.
Internet via wifi boost throughout the house is via Spectrum which I just pinged at 220 mbps down and 20 mbps up. The bandwidth is consistently strong. Three TV's have premium channels. Living room and master bedroom TVs are OLED.
We take our shoes off walking in the door. We hire professional cleaning before you arrive so that the unit is hotel clean. We do the same when you leave. Relax in a clean, organized, quiet, comforable environment.
