Summary: We absolutely loved staying at the Mountain Club at Kirkwood. The property management company was great at communicating ahead of time about what to expect. It was so nice to have a room that overlooked the slopes and be able to walk right out and get on the lift. There is one assigned parking spot in the garage for the unit, so you don’t have to worry about parking. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook basic meals. As much as we loved it, our bodies did not love the beds. There is one full size Murphy bed and one full (maybe queen) size pullout bed in the couch. The Murphy bed sinks in the middle making it almost impossible for two adults to share the bed. So we ended up each using a bed instead of sharing a bed like we normally would. And both the pullout bed and the Murphy bed have such little padding in the mattress that we both would wake up every 1-2 hours with shoulder pain. My husband and I joked that we should have just brought our air mattress from home because it would have been way better than those beds. Moral of the story.. there is no way you can fit 4 adults comfortably in those beds. Unless they update the mattresses, plan to not get the best sleep during your stay. Everything else besides the beds deserves 5 stars. Even with our complaints about the sleeping arrangements, we would definitely still book here again.
