Positive: Staying at MS Resort was easily the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka. The panoramic views of the misty mountains and tea estates from the private balcony are absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that sunrise is something I’ll never forget. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and come with great hot water pressure (which is rare and much needed during the cool Haputale nights!). Above all, the hospitality is what makes this place special. The host family treated us like royalty, cooking incredible, massive fresh breakfasts every morning and even arranging a perfect sunrise tuk-tuk excursion to Lipton’s Seat.
