The Last Minute Lodge is a portion of our larger luxury rental The Lodge on 687. You get access to the top two floors, including three bedrooms and two and half baths, comfortably sleeping ten guests. (Bottom floor of the home is locked an unoccupied.)
Enjoy the gorgeous grounds including wooded acreage, a stocked pond, gazebo, koi pond with waterfalls, expansive deck & amazing views.
Close to Mohican State Park, Malabar State Park, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Pleasant Hill Lake, & Amish country.
While children and families are welcome at the Lodge on 687 the property is not childproof. There is a natural body of water on the property. It is the responsibility of the supervising adults to ensure children's safety in and around our properties. Children must always be supervised by adults.
The pond may be enjoyed by swimming, fishing, or using the small provided boat. Life jackets are recommended. A few lifejackets will be provided for your use while at the Lodge.
We do not live on site but we are nearby and are available if needed.
The Lodge on 687 is located on 8 gorgeous acres. Your own private nature retreat is located within a gated, fenced property with a 3/4 acre stocked pond.
While the property is rural we are within minutes of Loudonville, a quaint town with many options such as boutique shopping, restaurants, canoeing, an aerial park, go carts, mini golf, and more!
Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish country are within a beautiful and short drive from the Lodge making for unlimited fun day trips!
It's a quiet and peaceful place to recharge but within a few minutes of lots of activities!
This is a rural area. The Lodge is a gated property. Guests will have an access code for the gate as well as the house keypad. The drive and all parking areas are cement.
Large rooms, open floor plan, and tons of windows that open onto your own private deck and gardens make this a nature lover's heaven.
As soon as you enter the enclosed front porch filled with a porch swing conversation area you'll know you're in the right spot!
Continue on into the dining room with a custom made oak table that seats 16 and make yourself at home at the fully stocked coffee, tea, and hot chocolate bar.
The eat in kitchen features a custom island that seats six, tons of storage, and new appliances. A fully stocked kitchen make it easy to get a meal for your people! You'll have access to basic spices and oils as well as a large electric griddle, hand mixer, blender/food processor, crockpot, bakeware, cookware, and more.
In addition to the fully stocked kitchen you'll also find a Blackstone griddle/grill that makes it easy to feed a crowd!
Enter the great room and you'll know why this home is so special. Soaring ceilings, exposed beams, wall to wall windows, a massive stone fireplace, and plenty of room for your whole gang make this a room you'll want to hang out in all day and night! This room also has a 70 inch smart tv to watch the big game or a special movie night.
Inside living space blends seamlessly into outside living as the great room opens up to the spacious deck overlooking the pond and fire pit on one side and the koi pond and waterfalls on the other. The sound of running water fills the house! There are plenty of spots to relax and make memories!
Bedroom 1- The main floor hosts a king bedroom with an en suite bath with a double vanity, walk in shower, and whirl pool tub. A 40" smart tv and white noise machine make this a sweet place to retreat.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 Upstairs two king bedrooms share a full bath and each feature a separate sleeping nook with a queen bed. These rooms are adorable and perfect family suites! These king bedrooms have vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and skylights. Both king bedrooms also feature large walk in closets for plenty of storage, 40 inch smart tv's, and white noise machines. One bedroom's walls extend up 9 feet leaving another 4 feet open to the peak.
Outside there are just as many spots to explore or just hang out and relax. The spacious deck overlooks the fire pit and the pond. There is plenty of seating for eating and relaxing.
Walk down the steps to the fire pit and Adirondack chairs for a little s'more making and campfire time. Fish for bluegill, carp, catfish, and bass in the stocked pond or grab a provided lifejacket and take the little row boat for a spin.
The garage has been converted to a three season game room featuring ping pong, cornhole, foosball, giant jenga, and more.
Explore the woods, play in the creek, and enjoy all the area has to offer knowing you have a great place to come home to!
