The space
Located in a small mountain community on a secluded private road, Deer Trail Cabin has a tucked-away feel but is just a quick seven minute drive to the best shopping and dining spots in historic downtown Blue Ridge. Spend your days apple picking at Mercier Orchards, swimming in the Toccoa River, or take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. If you have your sights set on an outdoor adventure, there are over 430 miles of trails to explore just minutes away in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
Deer Trail Cabin is perfect for a single couple, two couples, a single family, two families, or a group of adults as each level offers a private living space allowing guests to choose to spend time together or retreat to their own private area. Each level of the cabin has its own master suite with a king sized bed and ensuite Jack and Jill style bathroom that is also accessible from the living space. Additionally both living areas have a queen sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress making it easy to sleep (4) guests on the main level and (4) guests on the lower level.
For your comfort and convenience we provide the following amenities: salon-quality shampoo and conditioner, grapefruit + mint body wash, facial cleansing wipes, Meyer’s liquid hand soap, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, Simply Organic spices, laundry detergent, and fabric softener. Each floor is equipped with a fully stocked coffee bar including freshly roasted specialty coffee, a variety of K-Cup Pods, Twinings Tea, caramel and vanilla syrup, raw sugar, stevia, and an assortment of Nestle Coffee Mate coffee creamers.

Main Level
The main level boasts a spacious living area with cathedral ceilings, exquisite furnishings, gas fireplace, 65” smart TV, queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress, an 8-person custom live edge breakfast bar, and a beautiful open-concept kitchen with granite countertops and large dine-in island, perfect for entertaining!
Our gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream with high-end stainless steel appliances (gas cooktop + oven, french door refrigerator + freezer with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, farmhouse sink, toaster, blender, tea kettle, 12-cup drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, french press, waffle maker, electric hand mixer, and crock pot) and all the tools needed to cook just about any meal including silverware, plates, and glassware and wine glasses for (8), measuring cups and spoons, pots and pans, cooking utensils, potato peeler, pizza cutter, rolling pin, cheese grater, knife set, cutting boards, colander, mixing bowls, wine key with bottle opener, various baking sheets, pots and pans, can opener, meat thermometer, BBQ tools, cleaning supplies, citrus zester, salt + pepper grinders, and spices.
On the main level you will also find a single master suite with cathedral ceilings, king sized bed, and ensuite Jack and Jill style bathroom that is also accessible from the living space. The primary master bedroom is equipped with room darkening shades for privacy and a 65” smart TV. For your convenience you will find a luggage rack, hair dryer, ironing board, and iron located in the bathroom and closet.
Just off the living area is the main level deck and outdoor living space with a wooded view, dining table that seats 8 guests, a cozy gas fireplace, and comfortable lounge chairs. Blissfully sip your morning coffee or relax with a glass of wine in the evening as you unwind from a day full of adventure.
Lower Level
The lower level offers a second living space with contemporary furnishings, gas fireplace, queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress, and doubles as a game room, equipped with a wet bar and mini fridge. Here you’ll find all the modern amenities you need to make your trip unforgettable including a regulation sized foosball table, dart board, corn hole, classic board games and puzzles, neon ‘Game On’ sign, LED lighting, and a 55” smart TV.
On the lower level you will also find an additional master suite with a king sized bed and ensuite Jack and Jill style bathroom that is also accessible from the living space. The secondary master bedroom is equipped with room darkening shades for privacy, a 55” Smart TV, and a luggage rack.
Just outside the lower living space is another outdoor living area equipped with a gas grill, brand new 5-6 person hot tub, and a fire pit with seating for up to 8 guests. Relax in total privacy with a glass of wine while you look out into the surrounding wooded area, gaze up at the stars, or enjoy a crackling fire under the warm market lighting.
Guest access
The main road leading up to our street is fully paved. Our street is gravel with minimal elevation change and can be accessed easily with almost any vehicle. The cabin is located on a Private Road and Guests will have access to the entire cabin with the exception of the (2) locked owner's closets. The driveway can accommodate a maximum of (3) vehicles. No street parking allowed.
Other things to note
This is a brand new cabin and the hosts wish to maintain the quality and integrity of the property by offering a pet-free and smoke-free environment. Minimum age to rent this cabin is 25.
We welcome families with children of all ages; however, this cabin is NOT childproof. There are (3) fireplaces, a fire pit, a hot tub, stairs, balconies, and other common features/amenities that could be potentially dangerous. Children must be supervised AT ALL TIMES and should NEVER be left unattended (without adult supervision) inside OR outside of the cabin.
Firewood for the fire pit is not provided but can be purchased at a local grocery store or convenience store. If you find that firewood was left from a previous guest you may use it in the fire pit only. The (3) fireplaces associated with the cabin (2 indoor and 1 outdoor) run on gas so please do not burn any wood in them. Use of fireplaces are offered seasonally (October-May) as they heat the entire cabin. The fire-pit may be used year round.
This cabin is equipped with (2) EchoDot smart speakers that are used to run our home automation system and control certain features of the home including lighting. Please DO NOT unplug any automation devices, WiFi router, or modem. Doing so may result in advertised features or amenities not working properly.
Deer Trail Cabin is located in a small mountain community in the North Georgia Mountains. Though we do our best to manage the controllable aspects of our property there are certain elements that are common in our environment that are out of our control. We graciously ask that you embrace the occasional quirks of mountain living while staying with us.
