'The Al' - Country Cottage near Mittagong and Bowral
'The Al' is a charming, recently renovated getaway located in Aylmerton, the gateway to the picturesque Southern Highlands. Located on a 1/4 acre block, the property has spectacular rural views and homes native birds in its many trees. Do not be surprised if you receive a visit from one of the many King Parrots! Totally private, the property is located a short 5 minutes away from Mittagong and 10 minutes from Bowral.
'The Al' is of Colorbond construction and is newly renovated. When you enter the property, you are greeted with a spacious combined lounge/dining/kitchen space with a beautiful vaulted ceiling, offering plenty of space and natural light. This room also includes a log fireplace with plenty of firewood to keep you warm and cosy during those colder nights. The kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to spend the night in.
Attached to the kitchen is a covered outdoor dining area complete with gas hotplate for barbecuing and a scenic view.
The property also boasts a beautiful new bathroom with stand alone bath tub and separate shower, including a laundry space with washing machine and dryer.
There are three bedrooms in total, the master with a spacious ensuite. The bedroom at the front includes one single and one double bed, ideal for children, and the two bedrooms towards the back of the property each have a queen bed and back onto a large verandah. We invite you to enjoy the picturesque bushland and the sounds of nature while you relax and reconnect.
There is a rural train line nearby where you may hear the occasional train pass.
