Positive: Lovely traditional Japanese house in great location. Helpful host gave clear access instructions and also accepted a package sent to us from a previous accommodation (many thanks), nice to have a bit more space after several small hotel rooms, the Izu peninsula is lovely area to explore if you have a car

Negative: Not many restaurants open in the area (but we cooked for ourselves anyway)

Summary: A very different and memorable place to stay
