Original ornate woodwork, upstairs 2br &1/2 bath, downstairs leather couch in sitting room with fireplace. Dining room, full kitchen w/ island, full bath- deck off kitchen w/gas grill . Backyard/Deck and front porch. The region- One block from Lake Superior & bike path, walking distance to downtown in the heart of south Marquette. Near South trails for biking , and sandy south beach for morning sunrise walks. History- built in 1896. Highlights are the custom woodwork, hard wood floors, antique decor along with historic UP photos displayed. Old world feel. The original owners that built the home were Canadian & Scottish decent. In the 1920 census featured the Scottish owner, her daughter, son, daughter in law, and grandson lived in the home. In 1968 the home was converted to a spacious-duplex .
