Situated in the highly desirable Carmel mid valley area, 'Now and Zen - The Bodhi Tree' is a spacious and serene luxury rental with brand new, high end décor, art and amenities. Designed for large families and friends to gather, this the owners second on A vacation rental in Carmel with 'Now and Zen - Tranquility' being our other, award winning home near downtown Carmel (over 140 guest reviews on Airbnb ).
Our home is located in a quaint neighborhood with elderly residents. We are strictly a 'no party' home.
Our home is around 2500 sq. ft , 4 bed/4 bath home and is set in a large sun drenched 1.2 acre property. Property is fully fenced with over 1000 feet of beautiful redwood fencing and has a private, motorized 15 feet entry gate.
It has a large living area capable of comfortably seating 9 plus people and with a 65' flat screen TV complete with a Sonos home theatre system.
The kitchen and dining area have an open floor plan, and can host a large family dinner/get together. The kitchen has a large island with 3 bar stools and a cozy seating area with 2 plush, swivel chairs. The dining table can seat up to 8 guests. The kitchen has a coffee bar, with a DeLonghi Espresso machine
The Master Bed has a California King bed with a master closet, master bath and a cozy office/yoga room with a sofa bed comfortable for sleeping 1 adult or 2 kids. In addition there are 3 more bedrooms, all with Queen beds, two of them being en-suite having their own full baths. All 4 bedrooms are equipped with Posturepedic beds, flat screen TVs, ceiling fans and dressing mirrors. The common fourth bathroom is a full bath as well.
Our home has a deck with an 8 seater outdoor seating complete with a fireplace, umbrella, market lights, propane gas grill and a Ooni wood fired pizza oven. Breakfast can be enjoyed in bistro tables complete with chairs, with a view of the Santa Lucia mountain range. We also have Adirondack chairs and swing lounge chair.
The 'Buddha Field' is an award winning Zen garden on our property, for meditation and contemplation.

Our home is located in a quaint, residential neighborhood with elderly residents. We respect their privacy and are strictly a 'no party' home and while we have plenty of outdoor seating for family entertainment, we request to bring your gatherings inside after 9 pm pacific time. We have a noise monitoring system installed in the property and will politely remind you if noise levels get too high.
