This beautiful 3-story, modern-rustic cottage overlooks the 18th Fairway at a top rated, Nick Faldo designed golf course in the one and only, gated Wilderness Club Resort. Nestled near the Kootenai National Forest, this unique getaway resort offers something for everyone! Four season vacationing at its finest.
Winter activities include snow sports like skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, and more! Fernie, BC and Whitefish, MT both about an hour away offer world class downhill skiing. There are also ski areas in Lakeside, MT and Libby, MT (about 90 minutes away) that offer skiing without the crowds. Cat skiing can be found about 30 minutes south. Snowmobiling is abundant in the area and rentals/tours are available. After a day of winter activities you can relax in the cedar hot tub or cozy up in front of the gas fireplace.
This cottage boasts a fully functional kitchen with gas stove and oven, full size refrigerator, coffee pot, and dishwasher. Some dishes, utensils, and spices are also included. The half kitchen in the daylight basement has a small sink, small fridge, and a Keurig available for use.
The 2 master suites, one on each floor, and both with a full bath, overlook the fairway and Grob Lake. These master baths include a beautiful, large walk-in shower with double shower heads, and Jack and Jill sinks. A queen size bed can be found in the loft with an adjacent full bathroom.
The upper deck is the perfect place to eat a quick lunch or relax over dinner with its large family style outdoor table, deck furniture and Traeger grill. The patio below the deck and extending from the fully daylight basement also provides a peaceful place to relax around a fire, in the hottub, or on the patio itself. For additional ambiance, there is a gas fireplace on the main floor as well. All these make this a perfect escape after a day on the course.
Although the cottage is situated in the middle of the beautiful Wilderness Club Golf Course, we are independent owners and not associated with the Wilderness Club.
Outside of the club but within a short distance, you will find many activities the whole family can enjoy. A nice, gentle walking and biking trail meanders through the valley providing a safe and maintained trail for walking and biking. The town of Eureka offers quaint shops, restaurants, one of Montana's oldest movie theatres, plus a grocery store with a nice variety of fresh foods.

On the outskirts of Eureka, a well maintained historic village can be toured which showcases the history of the Tobacco Valley. The Tobacco River, also found near the town of Eureka, provides recreational activities such as floating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming.
Lake Kookanusa is a short drive away, but provides a large lake for additional water activities. There is a boat launch close to the main road.
