Monte Sano state park hiking and biking trails are also close by, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in the true southern hospitality of Alabama, with the vibrant city of Huntsville just next door.
ATTENTION: This is a secondary dwelling on the same property as the Primary Dwelling. It is a standalone home, you will have the whole home to yourself. It is a private and quiet dwelling. There is a shared driveway that splits, you will keep to the left to arrive at your stay!
We warmly welcome both people and pets. We understand that furry companions are like therapists, so bring your fur baby along with you. Plus, here is a bonus - NO PET FEE!
The location is an adventure travelers dream; Just a short distance to Screaming Eagle Zip-lining at Lake Guntersville, kayaking at the NACK, Hiking at Monte Sano Park or tackle the outdoor obstacle course at GoFAR USA park. For adult entertainment we have Standup Live comedy club, local artisan microbreweries at Campus 805, Karaoke at The Station, indoor rock climbing at High Point, Ax throwing at Civil and so much more. It’s no surprise that Huntsville was ranked the best place to live in the US!
This unique space was built in 2022 on a wooded lot next door to our family farm.
Rest assured your privacy is valued every bit as much as we value our own, so we took extra care in designing the indoor and outdoor living space to be a private and intimate getaway.
This intimate 1-bedroom Chalet features a comfortable King-size memory foam bed, a bathroom, bonus laundry area and a large outdoor sitting area with a Fire Pit for your convenience.
Kitchen: Our chef's kitchen boasts solid updated solid wood cabinets, granite countertops, and full-size appliances. It is equipped with a 12-cup drip coffee station, stocked with pans, dishes, and utensils. No need to worry about laundry, as we have a small utility area right off the main living area located in the hallway next to the bedroom.
Living Room: Relax in the spacious living room, which comfortably seats 4-5 people. Watch your favorite shows on the large 4k Smart TV. Feel free to personalize the home screen with your preferred apps. The open concept living area features new laminate hardwood floors and new vinyl windows, creating a bright and airy ambiance.
Bathroom: Our bathroom has all the essentials, including a hair dryer and makeup mirror. It features a full-size shower and storage space, accessible from the Kitchen area. The modern ceramic tile and floating shelves add a touch of style and space-saving functionality.
Sleeping arrangements: The sleeper sofa in the living room can accommodate two people for sleeping, it does fold out to a queen sized mattress. Additionally, the bedroom comfortably sleeps two people. Extra pillows and throws are provided for your comfort, along with room darkening shades and a bedside fan..
Porch and Backyard: Unwind on the expansive porch at the front of the house. Enjoy late afternoon drinks or dinners in this serene setting. Enjoy drinks while lounging on the porch and listening to the beautiful outdoor sounds of the south. Please note that the fence surrounding the backyard is original and is partial, so pets will need to be with you when they go outside. The low-maintenance yard is beautifully maintained by our staff, but please pick up after your pets and dispose of their waste. The private Backyard is suitable for grilling and using the firepit, there is also FREE parking that comfortably fits 2-3 vehicles.
Surveillance : Next door at our personal home we have two cameras located near the shared driveway. Both belonging to our family home, one camera is on our shop pointed towards the driveway the other is mounted on the front porch of OUR personal home, we live next-door. There are no cameras on or near the chalet you are booking. Both cameras span the view exterior parking areas only. Both are actively recording audio/video. To block, disable or obscure the exterior surveillance cameras is prohibited and will result in the termination of your reservation without any entitlement to a refund. Cameras are motion-activated. The passive surveillance footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons, safety, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted here. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in the internal, shared areas of your property.
