Positive: The staff are really exceptional here - we were travelling with my 90 year old mother and the lift was out of order - the staff couldnt have been more helpful and kind and considerate - every single member of staff needs a shout out at this hotel as the check in process is not easy for them as guests are unable to park outside the hotel. That is the only downside of a wonderful stay here - the rooms were excellent and clean and modern but it was the staff - have I mentioned the staff!!!
Negative: The parking is not great as you have to use the public car park - which under normal circumstances is fine but if you have any access issues it is not great - but again we made the best of it and it did not ruin our stay and nor did the breaking down of the lift. I felt sorry for the cleaning staff who had to lug bags of linen up and down the stairs too.
Summary: Exceptional staff and wonderful views and great food!
