Positive: We had a wonderful time in Daun. The apartment is spacious with a stunning roof terrace. It was very obvious that the owner cares a lot about creating a fantastic stay for her guests as she went above and beyond. The kitchen was fully stocked not only with equipment, but also with food and drinks. We were able to have a full lunch before heading out again to go grocery shopping. Everything was thought of: Before arrival we were informed that there was no guest before us so we could check in early if needed. The beds were made up already, lots of towels, the bathroom had products available (even a toothbrush and female hygiene products were available!). My mother described it as "ready to move in". :-) On departure, we were informed that a late check out is possible. We did not have to ask, we were not charged. During our stay one glass broke, that was no problem. We forgot a cable at the accommodation and before we even noticed that it was missing, I had received a message offering to ship it to us. Days later it arrived :-) We will recommend the apartment to friends and family.
Negative: The building is not so pretty from the outside, however once you are inside you do not notice - the apartment itself is great! When booking the accommodation it states on Booking.com that the price includes all fees and taxes, but city tax is actually not included - it is not much but perhaps this can be corrected.
