Summary: Upon arrival, it was late. Finding the way around to the entrance was difficult. There was no marked path, we literally walked through the flower bed down a slight hill passing over drain lines with water running out of them. Very slippery clay. It wasn't well lit. Carrying luggage was difficult. Our shoes were covered in red clay. Entering the basement, the sliding glass door had sheer curtains as well as the window right next to the bed. No privacy. The ceiling tiles were popped up in places, holes. Very uncomfortable right over the bed. The door was not lockable, therefore when we left we had to take anything of value with us. The fire pit was rusted out and broken, the chairs were covered in paint and full of water. Fruit flys were present inside. One door inside didn't even reach the top of the door casing leaving a huge gap at the top, that was very discomfiting. When I mentioned the issue of the door not locking, she assured me it was a safe neighborhood and no one even passed the house, yet four cars passed the next morning. The coffee maker had white mold in the water reservoir, a dead roach next to the chocolate and graham crackers for the non-working fire pit. There was old food poured on the ground next to the entrance. We have stayed at ALOT of VRBO places and never experienced this before. We went and bought curtains to hang, but the rods were hanging out of the wall, about to fall. Anytime we went outside, a dog at the house in back barked nonstop
