It has recently been completely renovated and is furnished as a second home with antiques but retaining the comforts of modern living. It has a large sitting room and separate dining room as well as a small office offering wireless internet access. There is a lovely south facing conservatory I have even sat out there Christmas Day for drinks!. Upstairs 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms serve the 4 double bedrooms. The house is ideal for those with limited mobility, as it has a proper lift to the upstairs area, (by prior arrangement only). There is a large garden with plenty of room for the children to play. Also sun loungers and BBQ. On a hot summer day it is lovely to sit in the shade under the acer trees. There is a good children's playground 100 yards up the road. The house is within easy walking distance of the village stores, providing basic provisions, and a pub. The pretty village location offers easy access to the world famous Jurassic Coast and is in the centre of Thomas Hardye country - the fictional town of Casterbridge (Dorchester) being 8 miles distant.
