You will surely get a chance to take a breath, reset and drink in the local life in this cozy gem we call home.
The primary suite comes with a bed so big it makes a California king look small! (It’s been said that this bed is so big you won’t be able to hear your partner snore). Located at the opposite wall is a 86” TV.
The outdoor hanging bed is a unique feature that calls for the adventurous type. Cozy up and swing under the stars.
How about our psychedelic room? It is covered with art and character. Welcome to dreamland where you can trip into the night!
Our boutique basement suite is completely retrofitted with all renovated antique furniture. Black out blinds, a 65” tv and is equipped with a king size bed.
Movie theater has a state of the art projector and 147 inch mounted curved screen. With two Bluetooth JBL speakers you’ll be able to create surround sound.
A mini fridge to stock with all of your favourite beverages and, of course, a bar with German beer steins provided. Whether you want to get cozy or crazy, kick back and reinvent what watching the boob tube looks like!
Custom build kitchen, fully stocked. A lot of the wood featured in the kitchen came from the property. The big beams, scaling from floor to ceiling, and mounting the bar were once living on this property.
In-house massage sessions available by our amazing local body practitioner ‘Wild Song Wellness’.
Manager who lives across the street. She will be available in the mornings and evenings for any urgent needs or potential special requests!
The old railroad track has been turned into a trail for all of your biking, walking and recreational needs! The famous rails to trails runs all the way from Crescent Valley beach to Slocan City …46km of stunning, beginner trail, lining the bank of the Slocan Valley river. Private tucked in beaches all along the way. More nature than you could possibly explore!
There are no motorized vehicles allowed on this trail, but don’t worry, they don’t include E bikes in that, if that’s what you’re into!
If you’re an Adventure Seeker, you can rent paddle boards or kayaks from ‘Endless Adventures’ located in Crescent Valley, and float the river. With safety in mind, enjoy the twists and turns of an intermediate river float from Slocan Park to Crescent Valley Beach. Approximately a 2 to 3 hours commitment, depending on water levels.
Conveniently this home is the right anchor point for you to drop in!
Entering at the green bridge - and ensuring you have a vehicle parked at Crescent Valley Beach to take you back - will make for one of the most memorable and local experiences!
Local Hang-Outs
Frog Peak Cafe is the bomb Breakfast Place!
Open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 AM till 3 PM - you will want to get in before the crowds! Our suggestion is to go as early as possible. Or save it till after 12:00 PM… But hey, if you end up in a line… They move quickly and the ambiance is so cool you might just find yourself spending the day there anyway!
Down the road is the Crescent Valley Beach which is the exit point for most river floaters.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach June - September.. However, you can walk your pooch further down the trail to the ‘unofficial dog area’.
Hit it up Valley View Golf Club (Monday - Friday from 8am-7pm )

Nelson is full of nightlife, concerts, art and culture with beaches all along Kootenay Lake.
Castlegar (about 40 minutes) is a little bit more industrial but if you’re looking for a tattoo or anything to memorialize your stay here in the Kooteney’s - hit up a Lionslair Body Mod’s and make sure you let them know you’re one of the locals with a Z and they will try to prioritize any last minute bookings!
How to get here: take the number 3 Junction off Hwy 3A
